Let's Go Fishing at St. George Island
Some of the best fishing in the Gulf can be found around St. George Island and the Apalachicola Bay

Did we tell you we like to fish?  St. George Island is a great area for fishing.  Grouper, snapper, trout, redfish, whiting are just some of the species available here.  These are just a few of the pictures taken during Spring Break 2008.  We either go out into the bay or offshore with our 23' Parker or we charter a trip with our good friends Dwayne and Sandra Allen (www.bookmeacharter.com).  Dwayne and Sandra have lived in the area all their lives and know the waters so well they can always find fish! 

Here are some photos taken in June 2008 from our offshore fishing trips.  Grouper, snapper, black bass, trigger fish, and ruby red lips were in abundance!

June 2009

We had some great fishing trips with our friends Mike and Lynn Garafalo.  Kingfish, Grouper and Snapper were in abundance.

November 2009 We only managed to go out fishing once during our Thanksgiving stay, but we did get a couple of nice fish!
